Salary: Competitive, Depends on Qualifications Clearance: Tier 1/NACI Travel: N/a` Purpose People, Technology and Processes, LLC is seeking contractors to provide services in the areas of software applications development and maintenance support, SharePoint development and maintenance, database development, maintenance and management, application end user support, information delivery solutions and support, desktop, mobile device support for development activities, security certification support, configuration management and documentation support. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWRD Responsibilities Collaborate with an experienced team of Developers, Test Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the development process to ensure the product is functionally complete and well-engineered Add features that are robust, reliable, and scalable for our Public Sector facing products within Dayforce Contribute as a full-stack web developer to our micro frontends and microservices Leverage modern UI frameworks to build a responsive and feature-rich user experience for our users. Also, use best practices and design patterns for a highly performant backend service Participate in our software lifecycle – Analyze, design, prototype, program, test, code review, troubleshoot, and support Envision and deliver features by working, as part of a high-performing scrum team, with clients, prospects, implementation partners, and Dayforce personnel Be a part of the agile process to estimate effort, assess risks, and define acceptance criteria and all other impacting factors when new functionality is added Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Evaluates effectiveness. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Acts as team leader on projects. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of others on the development team. Participates in the development of software user manuals and technical reports. Required Education/Certifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Expert-level work experience as an Enterprise Architect. Qualifications: Optimistic, communicative, and technically competent individual who is passionate about learning new technologies and building high-quality cloud applications. Strong coding skills in at least one modern object-oriented language (e.g., C#, Java) Working Knowledge of Javascript and React (other modern UI frameworks will be considered: jQuery, Angular, VueJs) Working knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML, CSS 3, SVG, JSON, etc. from professional or academic projects Working knowledge of modern relational database architecture and SQL Passion for staying with the problem and solving it together as a team!
