As a Staff Engineer on the team, you’ll be mentoring several other engineers on the Data Platform team imparting your expertise on all things Infrastructure and Data Streaming. This role is part DevOps Engineer, part Data Streaming / Platform Engineer. So if you like roles that don’t pigeon hole you to one area of expertise, this could be the one for you. You like building infrastructure, microservices, and event driven data streaming systems – then here you go! Our Platform is built of top of Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and we use Kafka & Flink for Data / event Streaming. Who Are We? We are the leading SaaS AI platform for clinical trials data. We were acquired by our parent company a few years ago who are one of the largest software companies in the world. What Skills Do You Need? You have built infrastructure and microservices previously on top of / using: Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Terraform, Ansible, Docker etc. You have built event / data streaming systems previously using Kafka & Flink. This is a Staff level position, so ideally you have over 8+ years experience as an Engineer across multiple disciplines (DevOps, Data, Software). We use multiple languages, but most of our backend is built in Java so if you’re a Java developer at heart that won’t hurt (but open to all languages). Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 Base Salary 15% annual bonus Full Benefits Package (Health, Vision, Dental) 401(K) with company matching Fully Remote
