Position Summary s a Senior Technical Consultant in our growing Professional Services group you are responsible for development of software applications with our clients while leveraging your technology leadership skills across the project team. You will work with customers and colleagues on task estimates, design and implementation, and may be charged with mentoring and guiding the success of junior project team members in both technology and consulting best practices. Responsible for technically challenging tasks and development, this hands-on role includes object/data modeling, workflow design, business logic programming, UI/forms/reports design, and solving other technical and business problems as driven by customer requirements. This role is responsible for adhering to best practices in development, security, and related areas; coordinating with Huron hosting, support, security, and engineering teams as appropriate; and reporting to management. This role also participates in the definition and development of the requirements and detailed design for the customer-specific application and therefore will be involved in customer interactions. Youll be part of the Huron Higher Education team with opportunities to collaborate, learn and grow while impacting some of the most prestigious higher education and research institutions. Lets get to work “ together. Qualifications Required: U.S. work authorization is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a closely related field; OR equivalent programming/development experience. A minimum of 4 years of hands-on application development/programming experience in or using: Database technology and SQL/query design, preferably using Microsoft SQL Server. HTML or XML. Programming (JavaScript, C++ or C#, Java). Source code control technology and process. Web services using SOAP or REST technologies. Minimal travel required; open to working extended hours as necessary. Preferred: Experience leading implementation teams. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience developing Cloud-based Integrations, using at least 2 of the following technologies: Web Services (REST and/or SOAP), XML, XSLT. This position can be Full-Time Remote. The estimated base salary range for this job is $75,000 – $105,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Hurons annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Hurons pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $84,200 – $123,900. The job is also eligible to participate in Hurons benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
