Summary of the Job: First National Bank is currently seeking an exceptional Senior Java Developer to join our Digital Document Management & Workflow Delivery Team. Successful candidate will be well skilled in the design of business functions, applications, information and infrastructure architectures, coding, testing and debugging. About This Role: You work independently and in collaboration with delivery team, stakeholders and vendors to implement new features, patch/upgrade applications, mitigate risks, eliminate technical debt, and ensure our systems are running efficiently. You have experience implementing dev ops techniques including CI / CD and test automation, are familiar with modern development practices and principles as well as, cloud-hosted infrastructure. You are a natural communicator, transparent and adaptable with a high degree of technical aptitude. You are customer focused, learning orientated and above all else, like to dig in and help where needed. Responsibilities: Build and maintain systems with current and emerging technologies while leveraging and expanding system capabilities. Provide creative solutions to cross platform technical problems. Partner with customers to establish requirements and close identified gaps. Provide strong problem-solving skills, methodology and approach and review problems by using experience, analytical skills and creative thinking to develop solutions. Lead and/or participate in structured walkthroughs, technical reviews, strategic planning and road-mapping efforts. Create documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, layouts, and charts to demonstrate sound solutions. Provide onsite and offsite support for the processing cycles of production systems. Some evening and/or weekend work is required to support production deployments, critical incidents, or critical projects. Support the Delivery Lead in adhering to Agile Scrum best practices. Design and implement effective APIs. Troubleshoot and debug software and hardware problems across the application portfolio. Manage and maintain application and software lifecycle. Ensure critical applications are optimized for high availability and disaster recovery. Works efficiently on several initiatives and projects at once.
