Job Description Job Description: Artech is currently looking for experienced professional for the below position. Job Title: SR. Developer Job ID: 23-21910 Location: Remote Duration: 6-12 Months (Possible extension) Job Description: Skills: We are looking for candidates who have substantial experience in Java to be able to use AKKA Java DSL -have been using Concurrent Programming and Functional Programming within Java-based implementations extensively and exclusively. Strong Java + Stream, Spark or Akka Developer(s) will contribute to the development and deployment of the client’s state-of-the-art “AKKA (Java API) + Kafka + Pulsar” centric digital platform. Note: A training curriculum is provided for resources that are expected to use AKKA/Pulsar. Skills & Experience Required: ·Extensive experience in Java Middleware with knowledge of using external libraries / APIs. ·Spark Streaming ·Java with Akka (Actors, Streams, Clusters), K8s ·Reading and Writing to Streaming Tech – Kafka, Pulsar ·Akka Stream API and Transformation libraries ·Functional programming w/ Java (must have) ·Reading from and writing to any RDBMs (Oracle) and NoSQL DB Strong understanding of the following: ·Event-Driven and Domain-Driven Architecture & Implementations ·Backend development of micro-service within the Cloud platform (in Azure) ·Reactive Programming and Reactive Streams Essential | Working Knowledge of: ·Designing experience in High Available and Reliable Solutions ·Observe, test, debug, and correct faults in a code base ·Develop and produce documentation, including technical specifications ·Hands-on experience in the unit test, integration tests, CI/CD process, and code coverage ·Working knowledge of deployment packaging with Docker Secondary Skills ·Working knowledge in Apache Cassandra, Hadoop, HDFS, and relational databases (Oracle) ·Hands-on experience in Spark Streaming / Spark Structured Streaming ·Working knowledge in Yugabyte ·Nice to have: Azure Purview Integration Please apply on our company website ( ) with reference to job ID, or contact me at for feedback and job related details.
