We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of software developers, overseeing the development and deployment of Java/Spring Boot applications on the cloud. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of software development experience with a strong background in Java/Spring Boot and at least 2 years of management experience. Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Drive the development and deployment of Java/Spring Boot applications on the cloud. Ensure the team follows best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies. Review and assess the team’s work to ensure quality, scalability, and adherence to project requirements. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Manage the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Oversee the maintenance and support of existing applications, ensuring timely bug fixes and enhancements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the development team. Minimum of 10 years of software development experience, with a focus on Java/Spring Boot applications. At least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role. Strong expertise in Java programming and Spring Boot framework. Experience with cloud-based development and deployment, preferably on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. In-depth understanding of software development methodologies, Agile principles, and DevOps practices. Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to mentor and inspire team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
