Job Description In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with development teams to enhance the reliability and performance of Java/.NET applications running on EKS and AWS. The position also requires deploying, configuring and managing Grafana and Prometheus open stack for observability, alerting and monitoring of EKS and AWS services. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. A day in the office looks like this: Ensure the reliability, availability and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure and applications Participate in an on-call rotation with team members to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents and outages Demonstrate a strong understanding of design principles and create architecture diagrams to document system setups and improvements Use knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and administration to ensure optimal performance and security for the infrastructure Set up and maintain dashboards in Grafana and OpenSearch for both technical and executive teams to monitor key performance indicators and system health Utilize expertise in Ansible, Kubernetes (K8s), Jenkins, application servers (JBoss/Tomcat), web servers (Apache, Nginx) and load balancers (F5, AWS ALB, HAProxy) to automate tasks and streamline processes Demonstrate proficiency in Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies such as Okta and Keycloak to ensure secure authentication and access control Optimize data storage and retrieval using knowledge of RedHat’s data grid Oversee certificate rotation and maintenance to maintain the security and validity of SSL/TLS certificates Qualifications Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 5+ years of experience as an SRE or in a similar role, managing complex cloud-based infrastructures with Java/.NET applications Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Grafana and Prometheus stack for monitoring and alerting Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Kubernetes (EKS) for cloud infrastructure management Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, including administration and troubleshooting Familiarity with setup and management of dashboards in Grafana and Opensearch for various stakeholders Experience in automation using Ansible, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Expertise in application servers (JBoss/Tomcat), web servers (Apache, Nginx), and load balancers (F5, AWS ALB, HAProxy) Understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies such as Okta and Keycloak Knowledge of RedHat’s data grid for efficient data handling and storage Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and communicate architecture designs effectively Experience supporting and maintaining SAP HANA in a production environment, including SAP HANA Version 4 (H4) Additional Information And here’s our end of the bargain!
