ServiceNow Technical Architect “ Commercial Client Location: Remote The Technical Architect is a technical leader who documents the overall platform design and helps analyze new requirements’ impact. The Technical Architect defines and communicates, at an architectural and design level, technical solutions aligned with business problems and systems architecture. The role also provides direction on keeping engagements aligned with ServiceNow implementation best practices and gives hands-on assistance with the detailed design and implementation phases of engagements through recommendations, points of view, and documentation. The Technical Architect (TA) is responsible for understanding client business requirements and proposing the overall architectural design, ensuring smooth project delivery. The role works with clients to assess the current state of the application landscape and identify ServiceNow platform solutions and Architecture options that meet their needs. What you get to do in this role Oversees, specializes and provides advice on one or more SN practices. (ITSM, ITOM, SPM¦) Designs and collaborates with Business Process Analysts and Developers to create a High-Level Solution Design Document. Takes the solution designed by a solution architect and creates a detailed technical design that includes system configuration, integration with existing systems, data migration, and other details. Ensures technical governance or policies are being adhered to and that solutions are optimized for performance, which may involve data modeling, load testing, and resolving performance issues. Maintains expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, products, capabilities, and ecosystem Creates and maintains a Technical Implementation Roadmap. Provides hands-on assistance with the detailed design and implementation approach of selected projects to ensure that best practices and standards are followed during the development phase and documents the technical aspects of the solution for future reference and maintenance. Capable of making configuration changes or code on the ServiceNow platform to fulfill technical requirements. Required experience and skills 7+ years of experience in professional services or customer operations 5+ years of experience in software or IT organization 5+ years of experience working in the ServiceNow platform for global customers Experience as an architect within medium/small customers with over 500 employees and over 100 SN fulfillers 5+ years of experience with Web Technologies (Java/JavaScript, AJAX, Angular.js, XML, HTML, Web Services, etc.). Required Certifications ITIL v3 or v4 Hold 3+ SN CIS certifications Industry proficiency – credentials /training/certifications
