VetsEZ is looking for a Sr. Mulesoft Developer to support our government customer at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This Developer will be able to create software in a variety of programming and a variety of software applications. The candidate must reside within the continental US. Responsibilities: Develop new processes in Mulesoft Code, test, debug, implement, and document complex programs Translate existing legacy processes into Mule ESB Ensure programs meet and perform to standards and technical specifications Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs and provide technical advice on Mulesoft programming Experience analyzing customer needs and developing the overall concept and design objectives Debug and resolve operational issues in conjunction with other technical and functional teams Experience debugging and correcting errors in computer programs Work with functional and business customers to determine solutions that drive additional business value Create appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation Join after hours support rotation, as needed Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or engineering or technical discipline is required. 10 years of additional experience may be substituted for degree. Minimum of 5 years work experience with Mulesoft ESB Minimum of 3 years work experience with Java development Must be experienced with Mule 3.x and 4.x and Anypoint 2.0 Experience of Integration architecture with MuleSoft Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting Enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements Experience designing public and private enterprise secure services using RAML and REST based APIs Experience profiling and troubleshooting Java application code Experience troubleshooting Mule ESB, including working with debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools Proficiency in designing Mule components (Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, ETLs, flows, MEL, message modelling, Routing, Filtering, Database, Exception Handling, API Management) Experience of scripting, including shell Experience of Java Messaging Services (JMS Proficiency in medium to complex XML schema and XSLT design and maintenance Experience with capacity planning, scalability, performance, load testing Understanding of and ability to invoke web services – REST (with RAML or JSON/XML), ODATA, SOAP (with WSDL Ability to debug using tools like SOAPUI Experience with HL7, FHIR, Git, AWS Services, Authentication protocols (OIDC OAuth, SAML, etc.), MongoDB and testing tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, etc. are strongly desired Additional Qualifications: Experience in the Department of Veteran Affairs or other Government agency Ability to obtain a government clearance Certified MuleSoft Developer preferred Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision 401k with Employer Matching Corporate Laptop PTO + Federal Holidays Training Opportunities Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.
