Job Description Citizant is in search of an Senior Java Developer to support our IRS customer. This position is remote work from home. Position Duties: Development of internet browser based application to integrate disparate systems for a Federal Government agency. Creation and maintenance of technical documentation in support of the project. Configuration management and assembling the releases of the code base. Will follow software compliance standards Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utlity programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Qualifications Required Skillset: Must have experience in the following combined areas: Java / J2EE JSP Servlet JBoss or IBM WebSphere Application Server is preferred, but Oracle AS, Tomcat, or Weblogic Application Server will be considered SQL Scripting and knowledge of TOAD or similar application IBM Rational tool suite (ClearCase, ClearQuest) S/W Design Patterns Working knowledge of Unix Knowledge of SOAP and Restful methodologies Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies Experience/Education: Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 8 years of professional experience; Or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Clearance Requirement: Must have U.S. Citizenship. Must have the ability to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) The applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation, and employment is based on the ability to attain Minimum Background Investigation clearance.
