Position Description Emtec is seeking a Senior Front End/UI Developer with experience in UI Frameworks like ReactJS, Micro Frontends, and cloud technologies. In this role you will be joining a dynamic and growing team to perform development on a Cloud based application as a UI developer. Additional responsibilities may include code reviews, coordinating with Offshore & Technical Teams, Architecture Reviews, gathering requirements from the customer, coordinating those requirements with the offshore team, etc. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about software development who enjoys hands-on development, but is also looking for leadership responsibility as well. As we are expanding our software teams in North America, this is an exciting time to join our growing team! Core Technology Stack: In this role you will primarily be working with ReactJS, TypeScript, CSS on a Cloud based web application deployed on Azure. Employment Type: This a full time, permanent position with benefits. Workplace: Remote, working from home. Time zone will be in Central Standard Time (CST). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working with ReactJS using TypeScript, understanding of Micro Frontend architecture and Azure on a Cloud based web application. Collaborating with the Product Manager, Technical Architects, Offshore Team, and other developers to design and build applications. Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Engaging in the full development life cycle including architectural design and testing Staying current on software engineering trends & tools, and be practical but open-minded in applying them Maintaining a high bar for quality and performance of your product with vigorous attention to detail and unit testing Continuously improving how we design, build, and ship software as a highly functional team Must Have Skills: 10+ years of experience developing UI Development using various frameworks 5+ years of experience of development experience with ReactJS and TypeScript In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages Knowledge of REACT tools including ReactJS, Webpack, and Redux Comfortable interfacing with the customer and gathering requirements Experience with user interface design Familiarity with Webpack , yarn and other build tools Strong proficiency in JavaScript based frameworks Familiarity with Azure DevOps Familiarity with Micro Frontend Architecture Exposure to system design is a plus Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest Prior experience in a working with offshore team Emtec is an Equal Opportunity Employer US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply #LI-REMOTE #LI-EB1
