Essential Functions Provide expertise and system engineering designs on cybersecurity concepts, principles, and technologies. Design and implement complex software solutions to secure FAA systems using various programming languages, operating systems, and cryptographic libraries. Develop PKI and zero trust solutions using Java and integrate with libraries such as Bouncy Castle, Database Systems, Certificate Authorities, and Web Services. Contribute towards the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment. Provide expertise on information assurance processes and procedures such as NIST 800-53 series that would systems to achieve Authorization to Operate (ATO) Research, analyze, and provide expertise on innovative information security solutions in an environment with rapidly advancing technologies and concepts. Collaborate through working groups and contribute to global community of security experts to build international consensus on security approaches and ensure interoperability. Develop technical papers such as architecture & design documents, plans, conference papers, and working papers for international community and participate on panels to provide presentations, speeches on innovative cybersecurity topics in aviation.
