Role: – SDET Type Fulltime Permanent Role Location: – Sunnyvale, CA (Remote Role) Description: Be both a highly technical hands-on coder and an effective experienced technical engineer (6+ years’ experience) essentially an SDET with development and testing/performance testing/performance engineering. Must have skills: Java programming, Python, Shell Scripting, strong experience in Jmeter Proficient in Performance testing (any exposure to 1 of these: LoadRunner, Silk Performer, Gatling or Locust) and Performance profiling (any exposure to 1 of these: Yourkit, Dynatrace, JProbe, Jprofiler, VisualVM, etc.) Experience with some Chaos tool (any exposure to 1 of these: Gremlin, Chaos Monkey or Chaos Blade preferred) Be willing and able to write code 25% of the time and help with code reviews. Proactively investigate site performance issues in production and work with systems, network, application operations, and engineering teams to discover resolutions. Some experience with Automation highly preferred; creating and maintaining automation with Python.
