We are looking for a junior to mid-level Software Developer in Test (Manual/Automated SDET, Java) I to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the reliability and excellence of our software products through automated and manual testing. Your work will directly impact the user experience and our ability to meet market demands. Our ideal candidate possesses experience with manual and automated testing. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days on-site and 1 day remote and will be a W-2 Hourly 3-month contract with possible extension. The hourly rate is $36/hr. – $ 39/hr. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and user stories. Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test scripts using Java and other scripting languages. Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and identify defects to ensure software quality. Contribute to test planning, strategy development, and comprehensive test coverage. Maintain test data and environments to ensure the reproducibility of automated test cases. Create and update test documentation, including test plans, automated test cases, and defect reports. Work closely with developers and stakeholders to prioritize and resolve issues. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
