Medical benefits Remote role 401K plan PTO plan Bonus Structure Job Description The Principal Solution Architect is a unique blend of a visionary engineer and a strategic collaborator. This person will be directly reporting to the Director of Engineering and collaborating with heads of different teams for day-to-day tasks. While your foundation is deeply rooted in engineering and solution design, you’ll also be deeply involved in our sales engagements to ensure that our solutions not only meet but exceed client expectations. You’ll bridge the gap between intricate technical details and client needs, helping us deliver engineering solutions which are both innovative and commercially viable. Responsibilities: Engage directly with clients and sales teams to understand, articulate, and architect solutions that address specific business challenges. Play an instrumental role in sales pitches, bringing a deep technical perspective to client discussions, and ensuring our solutions are both compelling and feasible. Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level solutions and architectures, ensuring they’re scalable, efficient, and in line with client needs. Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring alignment between client requirements and development efforts. Reviewing and validating solutions designs from junior team members. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure our solutions remain at the cutting edge. Drive Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and pilot implementations, showcasing the technical prowess and viability of our solutions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of technical solutions with business strategies. Qualifications 6-10+ years of experience in IT, with a significant portion in solution architecture and design. Software architecture design (Java/JavaScript (Node JS/Spring), GraphQL, Messaging Systems like Kafka, NATS, and MQTT). Cloud development (Docker and container-based microservices, Kubernetes using kubectl and Kubernetes API concepts). DevOps (Linux operating system fundamentals Preferred Qualifications, CI/CD pipeline automation tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, etc)). Proven track record of collaborating with sales teams and playing a key role in client engagements from a technical standpoint. Deep expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, API integrations, and contemporary software design patterns. Oracle, cloud certificates (AWS, Azure, etc) certificates and working experience required. Business Analysis (API design and documentation). IT infrastructure (Fundamental understanding of relational databases and information architecture, Software architecture, data structures, modern design patterns, and network protocols). Exceptional communication skills, adept at translating complex technical concepts into clear, client-friendly language. Demonstrated leadership in guiding and mentoring engineering teams. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field will be a huge plus. Summary of Technology Stack Requirements: Java/Javascript (Spring or Node), ELK, AWS or any cloud providers, GraphQL, and Messaging Systems like Kafka, NATS, and MQTT.
