About the Opportunity DMI, LLC is seeking a JOB TITLE Duties and Responsibilities: Mid Level Java Developer Work on an IRS Java based re-engineering project moving from onsite server platform to AWS Gov Cloud. The successful candidate will work as part of the development team coordinating with management, analysts and testers to design, develop and test software applications utilizing microservices and containerization. Primary Responsibilities: Software design and development Unit Testing Test Team coordination and support Client interaction Cross discipline communication Qualifications Education and Years of Experience: Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 5-8 years Java development and design experience, including: HTML / XML JavaScript / React / JQuery Spring MVC / Spring Boot RESTful Services JBoss EAP 7 Oracle 12c / Exadata IBM MQ 7/8/9 IBM Security AppScan / HCL AppScan RHEL 7/8 Java IDE (Eclipse or JBoss Developer Studio) Maven Junit / Mockito Additional Requirements: Additional Requirements: Must be flexible and adaptable, able to support using a wide variety of methods and technologies Must have experience in requirements analysis Must have experience in integrated systems Must have experience in software development life cycles Must have experience in Agile Must have experience with software design patterns Must feel comfortable interacting with the client on a daily basis Must have strong analytical skills and be detail oriented Must have effective verbal communication skills Perform analysis on existing functionalities Create and maintain technical documentation in support of the project Provide status reports Able to use Rational Suite (RRC, RQM, RTC) tools Must be able to obtain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) Clearance Min Citizenship Status Required: Physical Requirements: No Physical requirement needed for this position.
