Primary Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include all aspects of software development from design and analysis to development, implementation, and maintenance As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be a contributing member of a team that implements new product features, improves existing product features, while adding performance and software quality metrics to our codebase Understand requirements via PRDs and FSDs Perform requirement and defect analysis Create and develop solutions Coordinate with various globally located stakeholder teams Youll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical discipline, or 12+ years of IT experience 12+ years of software development experience 5+ years of experience with Core Java, jQuery, JSP, Servlet Experience in Frameworks such as Spring (MVC/IOC/AOP) Experience with ORM such as Hibernate Ability to work on high & low-level designs Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP), Rule Engine & security Experience with Oracle What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
