Job Description A consulting firm local to the Atlanta area is looking for a Lead Java Engineer to add to their team. The company works with clients to deliver creative digital solutions to improve their company through technology. The product that you will be working on will be adjusting and reworking the clients cloud infrastructure. In this Lead Java Engineer role, you will be helping to design, deploy, and maintain the pipelines and infrastructure using cloud technologies. This company works closely with their clients and it is a collaborative environment meant to making learning a priority. Required Skills & Experience Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis BS degree or higher in Computer Science or related field Years of experience in SaaS or on-premises software business with: Extensive knowledge of Java Experience with Spring Framework Experience with Microservices Architecture Strong understanding of cloud based platforms Utilizing technologies such as Git, Maven, or Jenkins Extensive experience with cloud based solutions/platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to help support and grow experienced management team Desired Skills & Experience Experience with the financial technology space Knowledge of Kubernetes Experience with multiple software languages What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown Write secure code that meets high performance and scalability needs Collaborate with front-end developers, devops, and project managers Help mentor junior back-end developers The Offer Generous PTO Health Coverage Disability Insurance Paid family leave Supports remote and hybrid work Tuition support Learning courses/Skill development paths Mental health platform 401K Matching
