About Cognizants Digital Engineering Practice: At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small cross functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. The Role: Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Java Technology Architect to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. Responsibilities: · Lead the analysis of requirements, high level and detailed architectural design, integration, and implementation activities to support service delivery. · Designed and Developed application platforms, models using Java AWS API, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API and SOAP Web services. · Working on JAVA 8, Cucumber, GIT, Oracle SQL, AWS, etc. · Complete involvement on DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, ELK-stack, GitHub, Jenkins with Groovy). · Implemented automation process for build, release and deploy the application using DevOps · Working on Messaging services like RabbitMQ and NATS and Event Streaming platform Confluent Kafka. · Troubleshooting and resolved issues related to performance, response times, and capacity and system limitations. · Involving in CI &CD with the Jenkins pipeline, Docker, Kubernetes and Splunk Involving in Agile process implementation (Planning, Grooming, Demo and Retrospection). Involving in code reviews and Junit, test implementations. Qualifications Must Have Java/J2EE, SQL, Oracle WebLogic, Restful webservices, Microservices, Spring Boot, SOAP Web Services, Maven, AWS, RabbitMQ, GitHub, Jenkins, IntelliJ 2020. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizants discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizants applicable plans.
