The inward direction has the Solution Architect contributing to platform architecture, design and implementation, bringing expertise of use cases from a technical and domain-specific perspective. The outward direction has the Solution Architect acting as the engineering contact point for JCI solution developers, helping ensure their success defining and developing solutions. The successful Solution Architect defines solution architecture, develops solutions on the platform, educates other development teams on the usage of the platform.
