Role: IBM App Connect Enterprise Developer Location: Torrance, CA (Remote) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Key Skills: IBM App Connect, APIC, IBM Cloudpak Job Description: – Design, development, production support of Message flows on IIB 9 or later – WebSphere MQ – XPATH, JAVA, SQL, XML, JSON Skills – Adapters, patterns, ESQL, DFDL, XSLT – SOAP, JSON, REST, JMS – System Integration, technical sizing, high availability concepts – IIB administration & troubleshooting memory and CPU issues – Transformation tools like WTX – Cobol Copybook concepts and mapping from XML to COBOL – Unit Testing, Integration testing and System testing skills – Networking concepts and integration with AWS concepts like VPC, NLB, etc. – CloudWatch integration General Skills (required for everyone, 6 8 years’ experience): – Knowledge of XML, JSON, SOAP, TLS, AAA concepts, Load Balancing Concepts, Queuing, Synchronous vs Asynchronous modes of communication, Streaming – CI/CD concepts + Automation skills – Unit Testing, Performance Testing – Tools like SOAPUI, LOADUI, Postman – Ability to set up POCs and Pilots quickly – Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker Containers – VMware concepts like OVAs – Analytical and problem-solving skills – Source Control tools like GitHub – Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure + code related issues. – RedHat OpenShift Concepts & Troubleshooting skills – Production Support experience with the above. – Ability to set up and work with non-AWS technologies like IBM Cloudpak & IBM APIC.”
