The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient data solutions, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of big data technologies, distributed computing frameworks, data governance principles, and data visualization Design and develop scalable and efficient data architectures and solutions in alignment with business goals and objectives. Lead the design and implementation of data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using services such as BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Data Studio. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define data integration and data ingestion strategies, and ensure data quality and consistency. Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams. Implement data governance principles, data security measures, and data privacy regulations to ensure compliance and data protection. Evaluate and recommend appropriate big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka, to meet business needs. Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformation logic to ensure efficient and reliable data processing. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling initiatives. Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Create data visualizations and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role. Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Data Studio. In-depth understanding of big data technologies, distributed computing frameworks, and database management systems. Familiarity with data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and data security measures. Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Data Studio. Experience with data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes. Strong SQL skills and knowledge of programming languages like Python or Java. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
